Andrew W. Alderman, J.D.

Growing up in Ridgeland, Mississippi, Andrew experienced first-hand the impact that compassionate, attentive health care can have on the life and well-being of patients and their families. With relatives working in various health-related fields, including kidney care, Andrew developed a passion for helping others and working to make the lives of patients and healthcare providers better.

Andrew graduated from the University of Mississippi Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in Political Science. He was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi, and was awarded the Taylor Medal and Senator’s Award for Excellence, the two highest academic honors available to him. While in college, he worked as a lobbyist for a non-profit organization in Washington, D.C. He graduated with honors from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he was a member of the Mississippi Law Journal and Moot Court Board.

After becoming licensed to practice in Mississippi, Andrew worked in various areas of law, including insurance defense, corporate formation and governance, federal criminal defense, child support enforcement, and workers’ compensation defense. He joined Mid-South Nephrology in 2023 as the practice manager and has worked diligently to update and modernize the practice’s delivery of care to its patients.

Andrew lives in North Mississippi with his wife, two young children, two dogs, and four rabbits. Outside of work, he is a professional musician, amateur chess player, and lover of the Atlanta Braves, Colorado Avalanche, and Ole Miss Rebels.
