Abnormal urine test

Routine urine test (UA or urinalysis) is done as part of health care screening tests. Urinalysis can test urine ph, specific gravity (weight compared to water), presence or absence of red cell, white cell, protein, bacteria, and other cells. UA can be with or without microscopy or culture to look for infection. Abnormal urine test may need to be repeated or do additional tests to check your kidney health. The best way to check your urine is early in the morning and sample the urine at mid-stream.
