Dr. Kulubya obtained his medical degree from Makerere University Medical School in Kampala, Uganda, in 1990. He completed his internal medicine residency Marshall University School of Medicine Affiliated Hospitals in Huntington, West Virginia, and a fellowship in nephrology at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Dr. Kulubya began his Nephrology practice in 2000 at Whiteburg Surgical-Medical Clinic in Whiteburg, Kentucky, before joining Mid-South Nephrology in 2003. He is an active member of the American Society of Nephrology.

Dr. Kulubya is fluent in Luganda.
